The staff of the Department of Geotechnics, Geology and Marine Civil Engineering give classes for students of every programme offered by the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, as well as some offered by the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Ocean Engineering and Ship Technology.
The Department tends to two specialisations offered for the students of Civil Engineering: Geotechnika (Geotechnics) and Budownictwo Wodne i Morskie (Marine Civil Engineering and Water Resource Engineering).
Students meet the Department staff during classes such as Geology, Soil Mechanics, Foundation Engineering, Water Resources, Landfill Engineering, Harbours and Waterways and many more.
