The innovation of the solutions lies in the use of research results on the vehicle-sensor-pavement interaction and the influence of variable mechanical properties of the pavement in correcting axle load measurement errors. It is assumed that this approach will improve the accuracy of HS-WIM systems from class B+ to A according to the COST classification and, more importantly, ensure the system's stability over time. The software will include real-time assessment of the axle load spectrum, correction of axle loads due to pavement deflections, and the dynamics of vehicle movement.
