Future Engineers Unite: BIP2025 Connects Students Across Europe in Gdańsk

The BIP2025 event at Gdańsk University of Technology (Politechnika Gdańska) was a vibrant gathering of aspiring engineers from across Europe. Participants hailed from Universidad de Granada, Universiteit Antwerpen, Universidade do Minho, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Università Politecnica delle Marche, and the host university in Gdańsk.
Throughout the five-day programme, students engaged in a dynamic mix of expert-led lectures and interactive workshops designed to broaden their technical and practical knowledge. One of the highlights of the event was a technical tour organized in collaboration with Budimex, offering exclusive behind-the-scenes access to major infrastructure projects, including the Baltic Hub and the S6 road construction site.
The final day of the programme showcased the hard work of international student teams, who presented their collaborative engineering projects — a testament to the power of cross-border cooperation and learning.
Beyond academic enrichment, BIP2025 offered a valuable opportunity for students to build networks, experience new cultures, and exchange ideas in a supportive and inspiring environment.
A special thank-you goes to Budimex for organizing an outstanding technical tour and providing a real-world glimpse into Poland’s cutting-edge infrastructure developments.
