According to the presented characteristics of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering, its teaching activity is mainly related to the transfer of knowledge about the course of processes related to the movement of water in the natural environment, as well as in technical installations. A large part of the didactic process is theoretical, but its necessary complement with practical classes carried out by students at the Laboratory of Hydraulics and Environmental Engineering. Students of Environmental Engineering and Civil Engineering will learn the basic principles of water movement in such subjects as Fluid Mechanics, Hydraulics, Hydrology, Meteorology, Water Construction, Water Management, and others at various levels of study.
