The laboratory is part of the structure of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering, Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Gdańsk University of Technology. The Hydraulics Laboratory aims to conduct experimental research supporting the scientific work of the Department of Hydraulic Engineering. The laboratory is also used for teaching purposes.
The scope of the laboratory's research:
- Numerical flow analysis for research and design purposes
- Experimental study of flows
- Marking of measuring devices
