The Laboratory of Diagnostics of Structuresis affiliated at the Department of Mechanics of Materials and Structures. The Laboratory is located in room 64 Main Building.
Research areas
- non-destructive diagnostics of building components using ultrasonics and ground penetrating radar method,
- strength testing of materials and structural elements (static, cyclic and fatigue),
- advanced technical monitoring systems of engineering structures such as large-scale halls, stadiums, bridges, geotechnical facilities, etc.,
- measurements of traffic safety parameters,
- measurements of parameters relevant for structural objects (e.g. displacements, strains, accelerations of vibration) together with interpretation of results and numerical analyses for the evaluation of technical condition,
- development and implementation of innovative measurement technologies in technical infrastructure.
