KMB FOREVER YOUNG research group
The aim of the "FOREVER YOUNG" Science Club is primarily to deepen the general and specialist knowledge of the students of the Gdańsk University of Technology, as well as to develop their interests and skills in the field of mechanics (statics and dynamics) of structures, strength of materials, computer modeling and simulations, and construction diagnostics.
The activity of the group includes didactic, scientific and organizational fileds and is focused on:
- organizing scientific meetings, lectures and seminars,
- organizing competitions and initiatives to popularize science,
- organizing meetings with theoreticians and practitioners and learning about interesting building and engineering structures,
- maintaining contacts with other Scientific Groups,
- conducting scientific research with the participation of scientific and research employees of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering,
- implementation of own projects and initiatives,
- cooperation with the Polish Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (PTMTS).
