The mechanical workshop serves as a technical facility dedicated to the preparation of test specimens, structural components, and the adaptation of experimental setups. It enables precision mechanics operations, including machining of metals, polymers, composites, and wood.
The workshop is equipped with essential tools for machining and assembly of mechanical components, as well as 3D printing equipment for thermoplastic materials used in the development of prototypes and experimental setups.
Its activities support both research and educational work carried out at the Department of Structural Mechanics.
In addition, the workshop provides commissioned services in the fabrication, modification, and repair of mechanical components, as well as in the development of models and prototypes for research and industrial applications.
