We are training - Workshop on Nitrogen Recovery
On January 19th 2023, our colleague Bogna Śniatała took part in the first Workshop on Nitrogen Recovery, open to technology providers and developers and to companies developing nitrogen recycling, organized in Brussels by the European Sustainable Phosphorus Platform (ESPP).
Following this event, ESPP has established a Nitrogen Recovery Working Group aiming to:
- Identify actions to support development and implementation of N-Recovery
- Define consensus proposals to submit to policy makers
- Set up and secure funding for an appropriate ‘structure’ to take this forward (including funding human resources necessary for group moderation).
Meeting of the INPORR research team
On October 28th 2022 we met to summarize the first months of our work in the INPORR project. At the meeting, the experimental set-up for nitrogen recovery was presented to the team members working on the INPORR technology modelling. The initial results of the basic research of nitrogen recovery in a gas permeable membrane reactor (WP1), as well as the further tests schedule were also discussed.
