Our student from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering is completing an internship in the United Arab Emirates | Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

“Working abroad in an international company like Keller offers a lot of new opportunities. Daily interaction with people from all over the world allows not only to exchange industry information, but also to learn about other cultures and customs. Openness and cordiality of colleagues gives the office a very pleasant atmosphere. During the internship, I get acquainted with both the theoretical foundations of the subsoil strengthening technology and related design calculations.
One of them is the Vibro Compaction method, which is widely used in the Middle East region, it has been used, among others, in the construction of artificial industrial islands, the world-famous Palm Jumeirah. Under the supervision of designers, I have the opportunity to test myself in performing independent calculations and learning how to solve geotechnical problems in such exceptional conditions that prevail in this area. It all adds up to an unique professional and personal experience ''

Students from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering  had an opportunity to get to know the offer of foreign internships of Keller at a meeting organized 18th May 2021 by the International Relations and Promotion Office (Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Gdańsk Tech).
