Project from our Faculty has been qualified for funding

Dr AngelikaAndrzejewska
The ranking list of activities qualified for funding under the MINIATURE 5 competition organized by the National Science Center was announced 16th August 2021.

We are pleased to announce that a positive opinion was given to the conclusion: Assessment of the impact of selected sterilization methods on changes in the mechanical behavior of porous structures shaped by fused deposition modeling techniques from hybrid polymers and subjected to hydrolytic degradation in simulated conditions, submitted by Ph.D. Eng. Angela Andrzejewska from the Department of Mechanics of Materials and Stuctures.

The subject of a single scientific activity is experimental research of structures made of additive manufacturing polymer materials (3D printing) and a description of changes in their mechanical behavior under the influence of various degrading factors, e.g. water environment, sterilization. The conducted interdisciplinary scientific research will significantly contribute to expanding knowledge in the field of solid body mechanics and engineering support for the development of medical technologies in the field of application of modern technologies of shaping personalized solutions for implantation.
