Winning projects and over 100.000 euros for Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering

In the second edition of the PALLADIUM SUPPORTING NEW R&D SERVICES program, over 100 thousand euro was awarded to the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The funds awarded under the competition will contribute to increasing the scope and quality of R&D services provided on behalf of entities from the business environment. The implementation of the projects will translate into the development of cooperation between universities and the private sector.

Featured projects were co-financed by the EkoTech Center, including:

Project title: Expansion of the system for measuring pavement deflections with a fatigue testing module and a device for measuring pavement roughness

Project manager: Dr. Eng. Cezary Szydłowski

Granted funds: PLN 121,739.56

Project title: Extension of the offer of testing soil stiffness parameters by measuring local deformations and local pore pressure in a three-axis apparatus

Project manager: prof. Ph.D. engineer Adam Szymkiewicz

Granted funds: PLN 129,419.37

Project title: Increasing the scope of services provided by the Mobile Research Laboratory (MLB) to include FBG fiber optic measurements and remote sensing measurements of the unmanned aerial vehicle division (UAV)

Project manager: dr hab. engineer Mikołaj Miśkiewicz

Granted funds: PLN 150,000

Project title: Extension of services provided by the Regional Construction Laboratory (RLB) to external business entities by increasing the scope of comprehensive tests of construction facilities

Project manager: dr hab. engineer Maciej Niedostatkiewicz

Granted funds: PLN 80,901.90
