PROGRAM
During the staff week, we will discuss:

  • how to care for the emotional well-being of employees and students 🧘‍♂️🧘‍♀️
  • how to open the academic community to diversity and promote inclusive attitudes among staff and students 🌈🧑🏿‍🦯
  • how to build a modern, green campus 🌿♻️
  • and how to utilize international cooperation to achieve SDGs 🤝👍

We have planned workshops, presentations, educational games, and above all, plenty of opportunities for knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and brainstorming for you! You can find the detailed program here PROGRAM_staff week on sustainable development_May 20-24, 2024_Gdańsk Tech_Poland (pdf, 2.02MB)

PARTICIPANTS
We invite employees of higher education institutions (administrative staff as well as academic teachers) to participate in the staff week. We particularly welcome those of you who deal with sustainability topics at work, related to ecology, inclusivity, and well-being.

REGISTRATION
Registration for the event is open until March 31. Applications are accepted via the online form available at this link. Applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. In case of a higher number of applicants than available slots, registrations will be accepted on a 'one university - one employee' basis. We aim for a diverse group of participants - we are sure you understand😊

TUITION FEE
The registration fee is EUR 100 per person. The fee includes participation in workshops, partially provided meals (coffee breaks, snacks, welcome dinner, and barbecue), as well as two excursions (a guided tour of Gdańsk and a trip to Kashubia region).

OTHER COSTS – TRANSPORT AND ACCOMMODATION
The costs of transportation and accommodation are the responsibility of the participants. Participants who are qualified to attend the staff week will have the opportunity to receive a discount on accommodation at one of the hotels in Gdańsk (subject to availability). Staff week can be financed from Erasmus+ program. For more details, check with your home universities.

LANGUAGE
The event will be conducted entirely in English (proficiency level B1-B2 in English will be sufficient). We have also planned a small lesson of (not so easy) Polish😉
