SBUF visit to the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering | Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Gdańsk University of Technology

The meeting was aimed at discussing the possibilities of cooperation between the Gdańsk University of Technology and Swedish companies from the construction sector. The discussions focused on research and development initiatives in which Swedish companies could engage in cooperation with the Gdańsk University of Technology, the possibility of organizing joint educational projects and student and employee exchange programs, potential investments in the development of research infrastructure at the Gdańsk University of Technology with the participation of Swedish companies, and finally the prospects for cooperation in the field of sustainable construction and technological innovations. The meeting ended with the development of preliminary agreements on cooperation in the field of scientific research and training of personnel for the construction industry.

Gdańsk University of Technology and representatives of SUBF expressed their readiness to continue dialogue and cooperation, emphasizing the importance of innovation and knowledge exchange between Poland and Sweden in the context of modern construction technologies. The companies that visited Gdańsk included, among others: SKANSKA, RISE, SVEVIA, IKANO, Royal Technical Academy Stockholm, PEAB, BRAVIDA, RAMBOLL, ZENGUN, NCC, SEKO, The Swedish Installation Federation, ASSEMBLIN SV, The Swedish Construstion Federation, BESAB, FO Peterson & Soner Bryggnads AB, LEDARNA, IQ SAMHALLSBYGGNAD and SWEROCK AB.
