GdańskTech once again became a place for the exchange of knowledge and experiences. Employees, specialists, and students from various departments of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, the Main Library of GdańskTech, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding, and the Multimedia Section of GdańskTech gathered to discuss the application of modern technologies, the future of international cooperation, and promotion.

In late February 2025, a meeting dedicated to innovations, international cooperation, and modern marketing techniques took place at GdańskTech. Experts from Tallinn and Gdańsk had the opportunity to share their knowledge, present the results of their work, and establish new professional relationships.

On the first day, the participants, including GdańskTech employees - Anna Maria Nizovtseva and Alexander Chanadiri from the Marketing and International Communication Office at TalTech, were officially welcomed by staff from the Promotion and International Cooperation Office at Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The event plan was presented, emphasizing its significance for the development of marketing activities. This was followed by a tour of laboratories and research facilities, where PhD Erwin Wojtczak demonstrated the application of ultrasound waves in the diagnostics of structures. Participants also had the opportunity to learn about the history of GdańskTech, visiting the Senate Hall and the Heweliusz Courtyard, accompanied by PhD Anna Lepacka, while also taking a walk around the campus. PhD Anna Dąbrowska, Director of the Main Library of GdańskTech, oversaw this stage of the event.

Subsequent parts of the meeting focused on the role of multimedia in modern information techniques. Specialists from the Multimedia Section of GdańskTech shared their knowledge: Kamila Ćwiklińska, Michał Łeszczyński, Rafał Jaszewski, and Łukasz Urbański. Modern streaming technologies, drone filming, and the impact of audiovisual tools on the promotion of scientific research were presented. After the official part, the participants had the chance to explore Gdańsk and learn about its rich history.

The following meetings focused on international academic cooperation. MA Magdalena Wrocławska, presented opportunities for student mobility within the Erasmus+ program, highlighting the benefits of international exchange. After a short break, Nadia Stencel, a student from the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the winner of the II Edition of the WILiŚ Adventure Contest, shared her experience in educational projects and student international initiatives. Finally, MA Patrycja Oryl and MA Krystian Pyszniak from the Promotion Office of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Shipbuilding conducted workshops on science promotion and modern marketing methods in social media.

We would like to thank all participants, speakers, and partners for their engagement and contribution to the development of international scientific cooperation. As a result of the meeting, new directions for cooperation were outlined, and potential marketing projects were discussed. A promotional video summarizing the workshops and meetings full of inspiring discussions and exchanges of experiences, produced by the Multimedia Section of GdańskTech, will soon be made available.
