Special Issue title:

UAVs for Photogrammetry, 3D Modeling, Obtrusive Light and Sky Glow measurements

The content of the special issue:

The special issue is concerned with new trends in photogrammetry and remote sensing with UAV. In recent years, there are a lot of new developments concerning strictly UAVs and measurements from these devices in general. New sensors, new procedures, new algorithms are being developed, which improve the quality of photogrammetric studies, photos and 3D models. Many new algorithms use neural networks, continuous miniaturization allows to achieve better and better accuracy of measurements using small sensors mounted on UAVs. New measurement procedures are also being developed and the number of UAV applications is constantly increasing especially in environmental and civil engineering. This special issue concentrates all solutions, both technical, procedural and algorithmic, aiming to improve the quality of photogrammetric studies, 3D models and remote sensing with UAVs. In addition, we would like to include in this issue new trends in artificial light measurements and what is new, photogrammetry at night. Night measurements, with UAVs especially those towards light pollution measurements are becoming important from an environmental point of view, and in this issue we would like to show new developments in this area.
