Innovative Approaches to the Processing of Geodetic Observations in Theory and Examples

Book_Msplit_MHZ

We would like to inform you that the Gdańsk University of Technology Publishing House has published the book titled "Selected Theoretical and Application Properties of Msplit Estimation," written by Ph.D. Eng. Marek Hubert Zienkiewicz from the Department of Geodesy.

The publication comprehensively presents the theory of parameter estimation in a split functional model of geodetic observations and, using numerous numerical examples, demonstrates the potential applications of Msplit estimation in processing geodetic measurement results. The thematic scope of the monograph has been expanded to include issues related to the methods of least squares, maximum likelihood, and M-estimation, which are specific versions of Msplit estimation. Therefore, this work may be of interest to researchers, students, and professionals involved in geodetic measurement practice.

The monograph is 106 pages long and can be purchased in the online store of the Gdańsk University of Technology Publishing House at the following link: https://press.pg.edu.pl/book/847.

We encourage you to read it!
