The Hevelius Science Club was established in early November 2008 by students of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FoCAEE) who were interested in developing their interests in the broad field of geodesy.
From the beginning of its activity, the Circle has been functioning under the Department of Geodesy at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering of Gdańsk University of Technology. The members of the Hevelius Science Club aim to acquire, expand, and disseminate both theoretical and practical knowledge in the fields of geodesy and cartography. Over the years, the Club's members have successfully carried out numerous scientific projects and established various collaborations.
The Club's members are eager to tackle challenging issues and problems, and with the support of the academic staff from Gdańsk University of Technology, they will certainly find solutions.
