Employees of the Department of Road and Transport Engineering teach classes in the following fields:

• Civil Engineering,
• Transportation,
• Environmental Engineering,
• Geodesy and Cartography

Classes teached by the employees of the Department of Road Engineering include the geometric and structural design of roads, highways, airports, container terminals and port surfaces. Students have the opportunity to learn in detail about the applicable regulations and standards. Thanks to classes in the best equipped road laboratory in northern Poland, they may learn about road materials and methods of their research. In the field of traffic engineering, students may learn about issues related to the broadly understood transport, road traffic and its safety.

The Department's international cooperation allows students to participate in innovative research at the highest world level.
