The leaders of the Perspektywy ranking in Pomerania 2023

This year's podium of the Pomeranian Ranking of High Schools and Technical Schools 2023 invariably belongs to the 3rd Secondary School in Gdynia. The first among technical schools was the M. Płażyński’s Technical School of Information Technology in Puck.

The position in the ranking depends on several factors, primarily the result of the secondary school-leaving exams and the successes of students of a given school in national and international subject Olympiads. In the case of technical secondary schools, the results of vocational exams are also taken into account, and in the case of bilingual schools - the result of the foreign language exam at the bilingual level.

Summing up the year 2022 at Gdańsk University of Technology

Awarded inventions, investments counted in hundreds of millions of zlotys, recognition in international rankings, cooperation with leading European technical universities, one of the best results of evaluation of research activity in the country, organization of important events - in 2022, Gdańsk University of Technology consistently achieved its goals. The community of our university also showed solidarity with the Ukrainian nation.

In the Domestic Forefront, Noticed Abroad

In 2022, Gdańsk University of Technology strengthened its presence in the most important international rankings. It was among 11 Polish universities in the so-called Shanghai ranking (Academic Ranking of World Universities), which is considered the most prestigious ranking of universities in the world. In this year's ranking, our university maintained its position in the 801-900 range and recorded a point increase in two ranking indicators: PUB and PCP.

Students in Port Czystej Energii Waste Thermal Treatment Plant

Students in waste treatment plant

Students of Environmental Engineering course at Civil and Environmental Engineering Faculty had the opportunity to observe the construction process of the Municipal Waste Thermal Treatment Plant in Gdańsk commonly known as the incineration plant. It is a modern installation enabling thermal processing and the production of electricity and heat from residual fraction of municipal waste.
