Another S@MPLER project consortium meeting at the Technical University of Dresden. The aim of the project is to increase the didactic potential of the universities involved in the field of practical skills transferred to students during the implementation of projects related to the issues of sustainable transport and mobility management in cities. Dynamic changes in the socio-economic environment and the growing demands of residents make the ability to rationally plan such issues a key factor in shaping the development of modern cities. Planning urban mobility therefore requires a creative search for solutions that take into account the interests of many user groups and the long-term effects of the actions taken. In response to these challenges, the "S@mpler" project will develop methodological guidelines and teaching materials related to the principles of developing Sustainable Urban Mobility Plans (SUMPs). Plans of this type are recognized and supported by the European Commission as a planning standard, setting at the same time substantive and practical requirements for people responsible for managing urban mobility.
